What is a Green Smoke® electronic cigarette?
Enjoyed worldwide, Green Smoke® electronic cigarettes provide smokers with an innovative, high-tech alternative to traditional cigarettes. How do I use a Green Smoke® e-cigarette?
a) First, make sure your electronic cigarette battery is fully charged.

b) Remove a Green Smoke® Longer Lasting Cartomiser from its packaging, peel the Stay Fresh sticker off, and screw the cartomiser gently onto the battery.

c) Simply take a puff and enjoy!

Do I need to turn my battery on and off?
No! There is no need to turn the Green Smoke® e-cigarette battery on or off. The Green Smoke®e-cigarette battery has a built in smart chip that activates the cartomiser when you inhale, so you never have to remember to turn off your Green Smoke® e-cigarette.
Please note that as long as a cartomiser is screwed onto the battery, the battery is in “standby” mode. For this reason, we do recommend removing the cartomiser from the battery between smoking sessions to maximise battery life.

Is there any risk of starting a fire with a Green Smoke® E-cigarette?
Green Smoke® e-cigarettes run on batteries - they don't burn anything and therefore have no risk of starting a fire. You can enjoy your e-cigarettes in bed - or anywhere in your home - without worrying about starting a fire on your sheets, clothing or carpeting. This is truly a revolution in smoking!

Should I charge my battery before I use it?
The batteries are shipped partially charged, which is the best way to store Lithium Ion batteries. You should always fully charge a new battery straight from the box before using it.

What is the USB cigarette and how do I use it?
The USB cigarette is a device that allows you to enjoy smoking while your other batteries are charging. You screw a cartomiser onto it and then plug its cable into a USB port. It then draws power from the USB port and you can enjoy a consistent flow of power to your cigarette. It's a perfect option for anyone who wants to smoke at their desk while they're working. Please note that the USB cigarette does not work with our car adapter or wall adapter, but it will work in any computer - Mac or PC.

How long do the batteries last? How long do I need to charge them for?
Our long battery (270 mAh) should last for 8 to 12 cigarettes worth of smoking, with one cigarette being roughly equivalent to 12 puffs. The short battery (160 mAh) should last for 6 to 8 cigarettes worth of smoking. On average, the long battery takes 4 to 5 hours to recharge, and the short battery takes 3 to 4 hours to recharge. The short battery is slightly easier to puff on (because the air travels through a shorter tube), and the lifespan of the batteries is approximately 400 charges (around one year worth of use).

How long do the cartomisers last?
Our new Longer Lasting cartomisers can last up to 30 cigarettes worth of smoking, which is equivalent to approximately 360 puffs. Of course, the puff is not an accurate measurement, as it varies so much from one person to the next. For this reason, different people will get different results.

How will I know when my battery needs to be recharged?
You will know your Green Smoke® battery needs recharging when you take a drag, and the LED light blinks instead of glowing a solid green or red. We do recommend charging the battery at this point, and not running it all the way down, in order to maximise the overall life of the battery.

How do I know when the battery is fulled charged?
When recharging batteries, only the light on the USB charger itself is important. The USB charger is the small, thumb-size piece which can either fit directly into the computer, or can be used with either the wall or car adapter. The light on the USB charger will turn red when you put your dead battery into it. While the battery is charging, this light will remain a solid red. When the battery is almost charged, this light will start blinking between red and green. Finally, when the battery is full charged, and ready to be removed, the light will become solid green. We highly recommend removing the battery from the charger as soon as possible after it is fully charged—like with all lithium ion batteries, overcharging can shorten the lifespan of your e-cigarette.

How will I know when the cartomiser is empty?
When you can no longer draw vapour, and the flavour is gone, then you will know that your Green Smoke Long Lasting cartomiser is empty. You should never experience a “burnt” taste.

Can I send my cartomisers back to Green Smoke®? Do you have a recycling programme?
You can send your empty cartomisers back to us, but we will be putting them in the metal recycling bin. Green Smoke does not reuse the empty cartomisers, and therefore does not have any sort of incentives for customers who wish to return the empty cartomisers. No, we do not have a recycling programme, however, we highly recommend recycling them locally, if possible, as it is the cheapest and easiest way of handling your empty cartomisers.

What are the exact ingredients in your cartomisers?
The liquid is primarily propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, nicotine, and flavour. Electronic cigarettes contain nicotine which is highly addictive. Therefore, we do not recommend our product for non smokers. Green Smoke's® vapour contains full bodied flavours, which can produce a slight scent, but most people are not offended by the smell of chocolate, coffee, menthol or vanilla! The propylene glycol in the vapour provides a realistic smoking alternative.

My cartomisers are leaking. What is the health risk?
According to short term health studies, you will not experience any serious health side effects from leaky cartomisers. However, do we advise avoiding getting the liquid in your mouth. To avoid it happening, please make sure the e-cigarette is horizontal when smoked or tilted slightly downward. If the e-cigarette is tilted upward, there is a greater risk of liquid dripping into your mouth.

Can I refill the cartomisers?
Our cartomisers have been specially designed for one-time use only! This is the advantage of the Green Smoke® system, as it cuts out the hassle and mistakes of refilling cartridges. If you try to refill our cartomisers, you can not only damage the cartomiser and make it non-functioning, you can also cause serious damage to the battery and yourself. Any customer refilling cartomisers voids all warranties on our product. If you really like the whole refilling cartridges concept, then Green Smoke® is not the right system for you.

How can I maximise the life of my cartomisers?
You will get the most out of your cartomiser by following these tips:

1. Keep your cartomiser covered when not in use.

2. Do not store your cartomisers in the refrigerator (this will dry them out).

3. When taking a drag, take it slowly. Each drag should last about 3 - 4 seconds. It is important to inhale as you puff, and shorter puffs will decrease vapour production.

4. Take 10 - 15 puffs with five seconds between each puff. This should be roughly equivalent to smoking one cigarette.

5. If you are taking more than 15 puffs at a time, it is a good idea to alternate the cartomisers. This will give the liquid inside the cartridge a chance to disperse evenly.

How long should I expect my cartomisers to stay fresh?
Our Longer Lasting Cartomisers should last for 6 to 12 months when kept totally sealed and stored properly (in a cool, dark place). Once the seal is broken, then we recommend using the cartomiser within 2 weeks.

Are your cartomisers/batteries compatible with other cartomisers/batteries?Green Smoke® cartomisers are only compatible with Green Smoke® batteries, and Green Smoke® batteries are only compatible with Green Smoke® cartomisers. If you decide to use either our cartomisers or batteries with a different brand, then we do not guarantee our product to work properly, and this will also void any warranties.

What is the best way to care for my batteries?

1. Always use a power surge protector when charging your batteries with the wall adapter.

2. Charge the batteries as soon as it indicates the battery is low, and remove it from the charger immediately after it is fully charged.

3. Do not leave the batteries in your mouth in between drags, or blow into them. The batteries are moisture sensitive.

4. Store your batteries properly. We also highly recommend using a Green Smoke® carrying case in order to provide the ideal environment for storing your Green Smoke® batteries.

5. Finally, be very careful never to over tighten the batteries when screwing them into the charger, or screwing cartomizers onto them. Over tightening can damage the contacts, which leads to problems with charging and function ability.

Is the nicotine artificial?
No. The nicotine has been extracted from tobacco plants and is not artificial.

My batteries have stopped working. What do I do?
We offer a one-year limited warranty on our batteries beginning on the original date of purchase. As long as your battery is still within the one year warranty, we will be happy to replace it for you.

Why is there a difference between my order and the amount on my credit card?
We are currently processing credit cards in US dollars. To make sure the charge is accurate; we update the exchange rate daily. Still, there might be a slight difference between the amount charged and the amount of the order.
